More AEW Stars To Join The Opps After Samoa Joe World Title Win AEW

The main event of AEW Full Gear saw Samoa Joe win his second AEW World Championship, defeating Hangman Adam Page following a massive assist from The Opps.

With former Opps member HOOK officially rejoining the group after striking Hangman Page with the AEW World Title gold, perhaps more new faces could soon follow and join Joe’s ranks.

Here are five more AEW stars to potentially join The Opps after Samoa Joe’s AEW World Title win.

5. Eddie Kingston

AEW star Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston was in very close proximity to everything that went down during the closing stages of the AEW World Title match at Full Gear, with “The Mad King” attempting to fight off The Opps on Hangman’s behalf when Katsuyori Shibata was attempting to climb the cage.

However, with he and Shibata brawling into the backstage area, Kingston was nowhere to be seen when his current tag team partner HOOK took to the ring and attacked Hangman.

While HOOK and Kingston have been a successful tandem since forming, it will be interesting to see if the veteran follows his young partner and joins The Opps, or instead remains a babyface and helps Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland in their fight against them.

While Kingston is a beloved figure, it would make for another big twist in this angle should he turn heel for the first time in many years.
