WWE continues to look for an enhanced schedule including big premium live events hosted in cities worldwide.
With the recent announcement of the return of Evolution – the all-female WWE PLE that has only ever taken place in 2018 until now – there are other former pay-per-view events that could also return.
Here are six more old WWE pay-per-views that could return.
6. Armageddon
WWE Armageddon was an event previously held annually in December between 1999 and 2008, marking the end of the calendar year.
However, in 2009, the event was then replaced by another annual tradition – the now-defunct pay-per-view, TLC.
Coupled with a Saturday Night’s Main Event in December to maximize intrigue amongst lapsed or casual fans around the holiday season, bringing back Armageddon could be a welcomed re-addition for nostalgic viewers.
It would at least be a better option than TLC, as Armageddon wouldn’t be bound to any particular gimmick matches.
