More WWE Title Matches To Be Added To SummerSlam 2026

With just three weeks remaining before WWE SummerSlam 2026, the card has been taking shape over the past few days.

The company has already announced Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship and CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship as the headline bouts.

With Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship and Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi in the Hell In A Cell, there could be some more title matches that will fill out the rest of the card for the two-night premium live event from Minneapolis.

Here are seven more WWE title matches to be potentially added to SummerSlam 2026.

7. Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable – WWE Intercontinental Championship

On the July 13 edition of Monday Night Raw, there will be a WWE Intercontinental Championship number one contender’s gauntlet match.

The participants in the bout will be Je’Von Evans, Joe Hendry, Dominik Mysterio, Rusev, Ethan Page, Dragon Lee and Chad Gable.

With the winner of the gauntlet receiving a shot at Penta’s IC Title at WWE SummerSlam 2026, it feels like one competitor stands out from the pack as coming in with a ton of momentum.

Gable winning the gauntlet would set up an intriguing title bout for the SummerSlam card and give the former Olympian a chance to finally beat Penta.

6. Sol Ruca (c) vs. Maxxine Dupri – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

On the July 6 episode of WWE Raw, The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker defeated The Street Profits to win the World Tag Team Championship.

This victory came as a result of Maxxine Dupri turning heel and joining The Vision by low blowing Angelo Dawkins to give her new stablemates the gold.

With her newfound relationship with Theory, this might give Dupri the confidence to go after the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship again.

After losing to Raquel Rodriguez on the June 29 WWE Raw, Dupri could use the negotiation powers of Paul Heyman to get a title shot at Sol Ruca’s gold come SummerSlam 2026.

5. Damian Priest & R-Truth (WWE) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (AAA) – WWE & AAA World Tag Team Championships Winner Takes All Match

Over the past few months, Damian Priest and R-Truth have sat atop of the SmackDown tag team division as the current WWE Tag Team Champions.

In a series of backstage segments, The War Raiders have challenged Priest and Truth to a champion vs. champion match.

Following their win at AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026, Erik and Ivar are the current AAA World Tag Team Champions and are looking to add some gold to their shelves.

The War Raiders finally getting this Winner Takes All match against Truth and Priest could give a major spotlight to the tag team scene at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

4. The Vision (Austin Theory & Bron Breakker) (c) vs. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) – World Tag Team Championship 2/3 Falls Match

As previously mentioned, The Vision regained the WWE World Tag Team Championship following their win over Street Profits on the July 6 Monday Night Raw.

Now that Austin Theory and Bron Breakker have reclaimed the gold, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins should be determined to get their titles back.

Considering these two teams have been going at it for months now, WWE would be wise to give this battle a stipulation to determine who is the better duo once and for all.

The Street Profits getting one last opportunity in a two-out-of-three-falls match would be an intriguing way to see how The Vision tries to walk away from WWE SummerSlam 2026 with the title.

3. Trick Williams (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints vs. Baron Corbin – United States Championship

Ever since winning the United States Championship at WrestleMania 42, Trick Williams has only grown in confidence and now has his own custom title to go along with this reign.

Meanwhile, both Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints have taken aim at the title and want to get their opportunity to take the gold from Williams.

However, there is a new competitor looking to get in the mix with Baron Corbin making his return to attack Hayes and Trick, sending a message to the current US Champion.

This could set the stage for a huge four-way match with Trick defending against Melo, Saints and Corbin for the US Title at the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.

2. Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Blake Monroe – Women’s United States Championship

Over the past several weeks, Blake Monroe has been teasing her arrival on the main roster through a series of vignettes airing on Friday Night SmackDown.

On the June 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Monroe made her debut with an attack on Giulia.

Then on the July 10 SmackDown, Chelsea Green became Monroe’s latest victim with a backstage assault.

After laying her hands on her only friend, Tiffany Stratton may step in to defend the WWE Women’s United States Championship against Blake Monroe in what would be a highly compelling title clash at SummerSlam 2026.

1. Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair – WWE Women’s Championship

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship after winning the title from Cargill at WrestleMania 42.

This win came thanks in large part to Charlotte Flair getting involved to even the odds against Cargill’s crew of Michin and B-Fab on the outside.

During the course of this match, Ripley suffered a knee injury that has kept her sidelined for weeks.

Considering the uncertainty around her injury, Ripley could defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Cargill and Flair at SummerSlam 2026 in case she is not able to compete and the other two can battle to determine a new champion instead.
