4. NXT – NXT Tag Team Championships – Undisputed Era (c) vs. War Raiders

This week’s episode of NXT started in fantastic fashion with the Undisputed Era finally having to defend their NXT Tag Team Championships against the formidable War Raiders. The bout was the first real test that the black and yellow brand’s new monster team have come across and they delivered.

Both teams hit incredibly hard and managed to dominate at points but neither ever felt weak when they weren’t in control. The David vs. Goliath outline that could have been used simply was barely touched upon as UE (especially Kyle O’Reilly) are fantastic at making it so everyone is the same size.

Of course, this was never going to end cleanly with the Raiders not ready to lose and UE needing to hold onto the titles for a while longer. It didn’t happen as by the numbers as you would think though. Instead, we saw the return of Bobby Fish who destroyed Hanson and Rowe with a steel chair, reuniting all four members of the Undisputed Era, ready and able, for the first time.
