Hello and welcome once again to my top WWE matches of the week. Here, as always, I check out all the bouts from the past seven days of WWE TV and cherry pick the very best for you.
A quick reminder that this only focuses on Raw, SmackDown Live, 205 Live, NXT and NXT UK. This week, however, we also had the phenomenal NXT TakeOver: WarGames II and the meaningless Survivor Series.
Now, without further ado, let’s get cracking!

5. Survivor Series – Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair
Despite the majority of Survivor Series meaning very little, this match was able to further the encompassing feud currently forming across brands between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.
I struggled with the fifth place this week as I enjoyed other matches more but this was incredibly unique and really proved that Rousey could go and really reinvigorated Flair as a pure wrestler which has been damaged as of late.
The match was filled with reversals and surprise spots that played off of both women’s respective histories. Considering this was penciled in as next year’s WrestleMania main event, it did very well to put Charlotte on Ronda’s level in terms of legitimacy.
The ending was a shame and there were no horsewomen in sight but it was incredibly well worked and I look forward to seeing how this story as a whole works out.
