With Stephanie McMahon already being announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026, more are sure to follow.

From well deserved posthumous inductions to legendary names that continue to impact backstage culture in WWE today — there are some top contenders for who could join the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame in 2026.

Here are nine more potential WWE Hall of Fame 2026 inductees. 

9. Chris Jericho

Although he remains under contract with AEW at the minute, Chris Jericho hasn’t appeared on AEW TV since April when he dropped the ROH World Championship to Bandido and wrote himself out of AEW on the next Dynamite.

While speculation continues to swirl that Jericho could be on his way back to WWE, the status as a WWE Hall of Famer could become a hilarious new character detail.

Able to frequently and notably remind all of his opponents that he is already inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame could lead to plenty of antics for the potentially returning star.

Time will tell if Chris Jericho really departs AEW at the end of 2025 and makes his way back to WWE but at some point in the future, the longstanding star deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
