With WWE SmackDown star Chelsea Green joining up with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page, there could be more cross-brand partnerships coming soon.

From more connections based on country of origin to others that might make the perfect addition to a growing number of mixed tag teams on the roster, there could be some exciting new partnerships ahead.

Here are eight more WWE main roster and NXT tag team combinations that could be amazing.

8. Rhea Ripley & ZARIA

In a combination of frightening forces, there could be a powerful Aussie alliance coming between ZARIA and Rhea Ripley.

With both characters in need of a bit of a reinvention of their previous brutal & ferocious nature, perhaps connecting with ZARIA could reinvigorate Ripley.

Currently ZARIA is at a point of flux for her character as well with partner Sol Ruca out of action with injury but ZARIA seemingly still looking to capture the WWE Speed Championship that was vacated by her pal Sol.

With a potential for both to make a subtle but meaningful shift towards being a more heelish version, spending some time wrecking havoc in NXT could be a major moment for Rhea Ripley as well.
