New WWE Raw Roster Members Following SummerSlam 2026

WWE’s second biggest show of the year is just around the corner, with this year’s SummerSlam event taking place in Minneapolis on August 1 and 2.

With it being almost two years since the last WWE Draft, WWE have sprinkled in a number of trades and free agent signings to keep the rosters fresh in that time.

SummerSlam will likely at as the starting point for the rest of the year in the company, which means we could see a number of new faces joining the Raw roster soon.

Here are some potential new WWE Raw roster members following SummerSlam 2026.

Enzo Amore & Big Cass

One name that is confirmed to be joining the WWE Raw roster coming out of this year’s SummerSlam is former WWE and AEW star Big Cass (Big Bill).

A vignette aired on last week’s WWE Raw show hyping up the return of Big Cass for the August 3 episode of Raw.

While Enzo Amore was not featured in the vignette alongside Cass, WWE is also reportedly set to bring him back to pair up with Big Cass upon his return.

A vignette for Enzo’s return could air tonight on Raw.

Giulia

Since her call up to the WWE main roster last year, Giulia has been part of the SmackDown brand, reigning as a two-time Women’s United States Champion.

Giulia’s moment had stalled on the blue brand, and even now she’s branched off solo, there is a much more packed women’s roster on SmackDown right now, while Raw is in need of new faces.

With Raw only having three babyface women’s wrestlers right now, Giulia coming over as a babyface would give her much more room to ascend the card than her remaining on SmackDown would.

Giulia joining the Raw roster would also open up potential alliances with IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer against the Judgment Day.

Tatum Paxley

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Lyra Valkyria officially shifted into her new character following her heel turn on Bayley, defeating Bayley in their first match against each other.

During their time together, Lyra Valkyria formed a friendship with Tatum Paxley, with them being the unlikely alliance at the time.

With Lyra now becoming twisted in her own right, and Tatum seemingly getting ready to move on from NXT after her feud with Reina Volcan, we could soon see a Tyra reunion on the WWE main roster.

Or WWE could do what they want to do which is put Tatum in the Judgment Day.

Mike Santana

Former TNA World Champion Mike Santana is now officially a free agent after he lost his title to Nic Nemeth back at Slammiversary.

Santana has made a number of appearances on WWE NXT television since the alliance between WWE and TNA started, with WWE having reported interest in Santana ahead of his contract expiration.

While the NXT roster is in desperate need of potential new top faces, Santana has already competed in a number of matches for the brand, with him not really needing more time in NXT.

Santana debuting straight on the main roster would be a cool moment coming out of SummerSlam.

Ilja Dragunov

Former United States Champion Ilja Dragunov has not appeared on WWE television since he was part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 42.

Ilja’s absence has become questionable to many fans who are waiting for the Mad Dragon to reappear on TV, with Bryan Alvarez recently noting that his return is expected to take place ‘sooner than later’.

While Ilja has unfinished business on the SmackDown brand with many names, including Gunther, a change of scenery could do him a world of good.

Ilja joining a hot Raw midcard scene with Chad Gable, Penta, Je’von Evans, Dragon Lee, Ethan Page and others would be an exciting addition to Monday nights.

Tony D’Angelo

Debuting in NXT right at the beginning of the NXT 2.0 changeover in 2021, Tony D’Angelo is one of the longest tenured wrestlers on the NXT brand right now.

The last of his era, Tony finally became NXT Champion back at Stand & Deliver, with him now officially having held every single possible championship in NXT aside from the Speed Title.

With a title loss to Naraku seemingly just around the corner, Tony could finally be ready to graduate NXT and join the main roster alongside the rest of his NXT 2.0 comrades.

Tony joining the Raw roster, potentially aligning with The Vision, would make him a nice fit to the midcard scene on the show.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has not appeared on WWE television since WrestleMania 42, when he was defeated by Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned match.

Drew is one of many WWE stars that have a long history with the Bloodline, so he will likely take exception to their reunion on Monday nights.

With Jacob now subservient to the Tribal Chief, and a growing war between the Raw roster and the Bloodline, Drew would make a lot of sense to side with LA Knight, Royce Keys and the rest of the babyfaces.

Drew is always a very nuanced presence on the show, so him being part of the story will add a lot of drama to the mix.

Cody Rhodes

At SummerSlam, the first clash between Cody Rhodes and CM Punk is set to take place since both men’s return to the company.

Tensions between the two men have already begun forming after Saturday Night’s Main Event, with SummerSlam likely the first in a series of matches between the two.

With a potential rematch between Cody and Punk at WrestleMania next year still one of the biggest possible matches for the show, WWE may need to keep Rhodes and Punk separate to avoid tiring fans of the feud before that time rolls around.

Plus, Cody Rhodes himself has a lot of history with the Bloodline, with all the interesting story beats that come with he and Roman once more on the same show.
