WWE/AEW
The WWE Royal Rumble will be heading outside of North America for the first time ever on January 31, 2026, with Riyadh, Saudi Arabia hosting the event.
From returning icons from a past era to brand new faces that could be making their way to the main roster for the first time — there could be some interesting surprise appearances during the show.
Here are six potential new WWE signings that could appear at Royal Rumble 2026.
6. Chris Jericho

Absent from AEW since April 2025, rumors and reports are pointing towards Chris Jericho re-signing with WWE once his contract expires at the end of 2025.
With the Royal Rumble set for Riyadh on January 31, it would seem that Chris Jericho could make his big return to the company at the event.
If Jericho hasn’t appeared in WWE after the first week of programming in 2026, many will expect his return to be saved for the first ever Royal Rumble outside of North America.
Sure to receive a huge reaction from the nostalgic fans in attendance, Jericho could enter the Royal Rumble at any number and make a huge moment.
