New WWE Tag Team Signings Coming Soon

New WWE Tag Team Signings Coming Soon WWE

2025 has been a mixed bag for WWE when it comes to their Raw, SmackDown and NXT tag team divisions.

The Women’s Tag Team Titles scene is currently flourishing, with top stars such as Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and Charlotte Flair all after The Kabuki Warriors’ gold heading into the new year.

Contrarily, the men’s tag team division has seen an inconsistent level of attention from WWE’s creative team. SmackDown was a hot spot for tag team wrestling for much of the year but has tailed off in recent months, while Raw’s spent much of the year doing very little, only for things to pick up in a major way towards the end of the year following AJ Styles & Dragon Lee’s World Tag Team Titles win.

With plenty of reasons to be hopeful for more improvement and creative focus in 2026, it’s time to look at what new teams could potentially join the roster in the coming weeks and months.

Here are five potential new WWE tag teams arriving soon.

AEW's Private Party

Easily the team most linked with a move to WWE in 2025 has been Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen of Private Party.

This time last year, Zay & Quen were the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions – their first time with the gold after five years of trying to reach that goal.

However, on the January 22 episode of AEW Dynamite their 84 day run as champions came to an abrupt end, as they were dethroned by The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.

Since then Private Party have not been seen on AEW programming at all, with it being reported that their AEW deals are nearing their expiry.

While there’s always a chance they could re-emerge on Dynamite or Collision, it certainly seems more likely that the pair debut on NXT, SmackDown or Raw in 2026.
