While Jon Moxley has continued to hold the AEW World Championship hostage in a briefcase for over 220 days, there will be another champ eventually.
Moxley’s reign will end at some point, but predicting what happens even after Moxley is finally beaten is where things start to become even more interesting.
Here are our predictions for the next seven AEW World Champions.
Darby Allin
Darby Allin has been absent from AEW TV since December 2024, written off in storyline after an attack by Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.
In actuality, Allin was taking time off from AEW to summit Mount Everest – a feat that he completed and is now traversing back from.
Since Hangman Adam Page won the Owen Hart Foundation tournament and is set to challenge Moxley at AEW All In Texas, it would be easy to assume Hangman would be next.
However, it kind of seems like Moxley could pull off one last heartbreak, retaining the title at AEW All In Texas, and delaying any change of title until a later date with Darby Allin picking up the win and being the one to finally dethrone him.
