WWE
On the November 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, John Cena defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
With this win, Cena is now officially a Grand Slam Champion in WWE for the first time in his career, but with his retirement match fast approaching, this reign will not last very long.
Whoever WWE crowns as the next I.C. Champion could be the one chosen to beat Cena in his retirement match on December 13 in Washington, D.C. at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Here are six potential next WWE Intercontinental Champions after John Cena.
6. Dominik Mysterio

After losing the Intercontinental Championship on the November 10 edition of WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio has to be livening and wanting revenge.
Mysterio had an impressive 200-plus day reign as I.C. Champion where he was able to garner nine successful title defenses.
Following this run with the title, “Dirty Dom” feels like the hottest star in the entire company and will want another reign.
Mysterio regaining the gold in a rematch at WWE Survivor Series 2025 could be the best way for the promotion to continue his recent hot streak in The Judgment Day member’s hometown of San Diego.
