WWE
2025 saw GUNTHER put his name in the WWE history books by being the man to defeat both John Cena and Goldberg in their final matches.
Then at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, ‘The Ring General’ defeated AJ Styles to retire him from the company.
The former World Heavyweight Champion could continue his ‘Career Killer’ gimmick by retiring even more stars on the WWE roster right now.
Here are seven more WWE stars who could be retired by GUNTHER.
7. Shinsuke Nakamura

At the January 24 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, AJ Styles defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in what was billed as their final encounter.
At 45 years old, ‘The King of Strong Style’ is someone who could be in the latter stages of his legendary career.
Nakamura clearly has more years behind him than ahead of him and could be winding down his in-ring run in pro wrestling.
With his friendship outside of the ring with AJ Styles, it would make sense for Nakamura to go after GUNTHER, leading to the former NJPW star following in the footsteps of ‘The Phenomenal One’ sooner rather than later.
