After winning her first singles title on the WWE main roster, it should be interesting to see how long Rodriguez will hold the gold.

Looking at the Raw roster and potential NXT callups, there are a variety of intriguing options for the next Women’s Intercontinental Champion in the future.

Here are seven potential WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champions who could be the next titleholder after Raquel Rodriguez.

7. Sol Ruca

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Sol Ruca defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

For the past two months, Ruca has been trying to prove herself as a fighting champion by not backing down from any challenge set in front of her.

However, this all came to a head when Raquel Rodriguez beat Ruca to win the title on the July 27 episode of WWE Raw.

After losing the gold, fans could see a more aggressive Sol Ruca who is more focused than ever to regain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title and make sure her second reign is longer than the first.

6. Lola Vice

At WWE NXT Great American Bash 2026, Kendal Grey defeated Lola Vice to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

Not letting that stop her run on top, Vice defeated Kali Armstrong and Kelani Jordan to become the number one contender for Grey’s title.

Now, the stage is set for Vice to challenge Grey for the gold in a NXT Underground Match on the August 4 WWE NXT.

If she loses in this rematch, Vice might get called up to the WWE main roster and make her way to Monday Night Raw where she could position herself to become the next Women’s Intercontinental Champion before long.

5. Maxxine Dupri

In 2025, Maxxine Dupri scored the biggest win of her career when she defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

While she came up short against Lynch in a rematch at the start of 2026, things are much different for Dupri moving forward.

Dupri has since betrayed Alpha Academy and joined forces with Austin Theory as the newest member of The Vision.

With the backup of The Vision by her side, Maxxine Dupri could bring another title to the faction by regaining the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Raquel Rodriguez.

4. Bayley

On the July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley. Post match, Valkyria viciously beat down Bayley, ending with the Nightwing on top of the steel steps.

Since this attack, fans have not seen Bayley on the company’s programming over the past couple of weeks.

Considering the reports and rumors regarding her pending free agency, it will be interesting to see if or when Bayley makes a return on WWE TV.

Bayley re-signing would be a huge statement that would need a strong followup and could open the door for ‘The Role Model’ to finally capture the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship she has been chasing for nearly two years.

3. Lyra Valkyria

Fans have been introduced to a brand new version of Lyra Valkyria since turning her back on Bayley.

This more deranged and unhinged Valkyria defeated and then viciously attacked her former tag team partner on the July 18 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Following this win, Valkyria confronted Sol Ruca to challenge the winner of her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match against Raquel Rodriguez.

Now that Rodriguez is the titleholder, Valkyria could bring a whole new different gameplan to finally become a two-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

2. Becky Lynch

Since losing the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title to Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy and in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament, Becky Lynch has been absent from the company’s television.

‘The Man’ is someone who is always in the mix and a top contender for any championship gold whenever she comes around.

After a few months away, Lynch could place her sights back on the title that she claims she made.

Lynch turning babyface to challenge Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship would show the fans just how much ‘Big Time Becks’ cares about this title and wants to take it away from The Judgment Day.

1. Roxanne Perez

Raquel Rodriguez’s WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title win over Sol Ruca could be directly credited to outside interference from The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez.

After giving her stablemate an assist, Perez might desire her own chance to become a champion in WWE.

‘The Prodigy’ being on the outside looking in with all The Judgment Day business with the likes of IYO SKY, Danhausen and Joe Hendry might lead to her inserting herself in the title scene on WWE Raw.

Perez challenging Rodriguez would give her an advantage because there might not be anyone who knows the champion as well as ‘The Prodigy’ to win the title next.
