While Nick Aldis is a popular on-screen character as SmackDown General Manager, he’s never competed in WWE.

Coming from his own in-ring career that saw him win titles in TNA Wrestling, the NWA and NJPW, Nick Aldis could have some iconic in-ring moments still ahead of him.

Here are seven ways that Nick Aldis could make his WWE in-ring debut. 

7. Nick Aldis vs. Drew McIntyre

With the authority figure role that Nick Aldis has played on WWE SmackDown thus far in his tenure in the company, he has bumped heads occasionally with talent.

One massive name that he could end up scrapping with is Drew McIntyre.

With McIntyre notably having a disdain for any attempts at controlling his freewill, he may end up needing to go through Aldis to get to his next intended target. Since it seems Drew McIntyre is gunning for Cody Rhodes, perhaps he will have to go through Nick Aldis to do it.

If McIntyre were to have to beat Nick Aldis in a match in order to become the number one contender to Rhodes’ title, there could be a stunning in-ring debut from Aldis who has yet to be able to show off that particular set of skills in WWE.
