WWE
This weekend at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, GA, Oba Femi will meet Bron Breakker in the ring for the very first time.
The match is being built up as a decider for which of the two rising stars will lead WWE into the future, but many feel that, regardless of the result, that title belongs to ‘The Ruler.’
With big things seemingly in store for Femi, here are some potential next opponents for him after he’s done with Bron Breakker in WWE.
Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed is currently out of action after suffering an injury during an Elimination Chamber qualifier on Raw back in February
With his last WWE appearance coming all the way back in February, fans are anticipating the impending return of Bronson Reed.
It has been reported that Reed is “100%” returning to WWE full-time this month, and will be back as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster when he does.
This means that, in all likelihood, Reed should also be back involved with The Vision when he does come back, and speculation has been abound that he could potentially play a factor in Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Whether Reed costs Femi the match this Sunday in Atlanta, or confronts ‘The Ruler’ on Raw afterwards, we could potentially see a clash between the two titans very soon.
Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre won his fourth world championship in WWE on January 9 episode of SmackDown, but lost it back to Cody Rhodes 56 days later.
Speaking of returns, another name who has been gone from WWE programming for much of this year is Drew McIntyre.
Unlike Reed however, McIntrye’s absence is nothing to do with an injury, instead he’s been busy building his Hollywood reputation by working alongside Russell Crowe in two different movies.
While McIntyre is a SmackDown star as of right now, the blue brand’s main event scene is getting increasingly crowded, and WWE may decide to shift him to Raw to even things out a bit.
If WWE want to delay Oba Femi’s push to the World Heavyweight Title until WrestleMania 43, then McIntyre would be an excellent stop gap rival that could further raise ‘The Ruler’s’ stock.
Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins lost to Roman Reigns in the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two.
The third of our currently MIA WWE stars on this list is Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins – who is seemingly being kept off TV until WWE has something new for him to sink his teeth into.
Rollins and Roman Reigns wrapped up their over decade-long feud at WWE SummerSlam, and as a result, ‘The Visionary’ needs a new focus on WWE Raw.
While Rollins is a babyface, he could potentially turn back heel in order to be Oba Femi’s next foil. Or, alternatively Rollins could remain a face and simply want to test himself against the Nigerian before he ascends to the main event scene on the red brand.
Whatever the way it’s set up, having ‘The Ruler’ put away Rollins en route to dethroning his old Shield brother Roman Reigns would be a major feather in the former NXT Champion’s cap.
