At WWE SummerSlam, Oba Femi will try to finally settle the score with Brock Lesnar when they meet inside Hell In A Cell.
Coming out of “The Biggest Party of the Summer,” there could be some interesting new opponents for “The Ruler” moving forward.
Whether they be from Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown, Femi will not back down from any challenge following this year’s SummerSlam from Minneapolis.
Here are seven Oba Femi potential WWE opponents following SummerSlam 2026.
7. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins previously won the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at SummerSlam 2025 after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.
At WWE Night of Champions, Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring Finals.
With this win, Femi earned the right to challenge for the world title of his choosing at WWE SummerSlam.
However, Femi decided to relinquish his title opportunity to face Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell at the event instead. With Femi’s choice, Seth Rollins stepped up to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam.
Whether win, lose or draw at “The Biggest Party of the Summer,” fans could see Rollins go head-to-head with Femi sooner rather than later.
6. Je’Von Evans
During their time on WWE NXT, Je’Von Evans and Oba Femi developed a memorable rivalry with one another.
Facing off in the Iron Survivor and over the NXT Championship, Femi and Evans earned their reputations thanks to their clashes against one another.
While they have been connected for much of their careers, Evans and Femi have not yet clashed in a singles match despite both being part of the WWE Raw roster.
With Evans recently naming Femi as a star who could become his long-term career rival, this bout would garner plenty of attention from the fans following WWE SummerSlam.
5. Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker and Austin Theory of The Vision currently hold the WWE World Tag Team Championship.
Oba Femi has been considered the future of WWE, but someone else who has been pegged for future success is Bron Breakker.
The Vision member has been mostly focused on tag team competition in recent weeks, alongside Austin Theory as the WWE World Tag Team Champions.
While he has fallen down the ranks a bit in singles competition, Breakker could once again become the next face of WWE by taking down Femi.
Oba and Bron clashing seems inevitable with both men looking to become world champions and WrestleMania headliners in the future.
4. Drew McIntyre

Oba Femi and Drew McIntyre had a run in with each other back at John Cena’s Last Match edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event
Back at the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi went one-on-one with Cody Rhodes.
However, this match never came to a conclusion with Drew McIntyre interfering in this bout to cause a no contest, leading to Femi and McIntyre coming to blows.
“The Scottish Warrior” is someone who has been absent from WWE TV ever since losing to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42.
McIntyre returning to set up a feud with Oba Femi would be interesting and prove to be another obstacle in “The Ruler” rising to the top of WWE.
3. Cody Rhodes
Speaking of last December’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi showcased what he had to offer to the main roster for the first time against Cody Rhodes.
This bout ended in controversy when Drew McIntyre came in to attack Rhodes, but he would feel the fury of Femi as well.
However, it seemed that Rhodes was not done with Femi following this match result. This could set up a rematch between Rhodes and Femi sometime in the future.
If Femi wants to insert himself into the world title picture, “The Ruler” could step up to Rhodes to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship if Rhodes defeats CM Punk at SummerSlam.
2. Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu aligned himself with the Bloodline after losing to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat at Clash In Italy 2026.
Looking at the WWE roster, there are not many stars who can match up with Oba Femi from a physical standpoint.
However, Jacob Fatu is someone that can stand toe-to-toe with Femi when it comes to physicality and intensity.
If Femi wants to make his way into the mix for the World Heavyweight Championship, he may need to overcome Jacob Fatu to get to Roman Reigns.
Femi facing off with Fatu would be a battle of behemoths unlike anything fans have seen and could determine who is ready to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship next.
1. Roman Reigns
Heading into WWE SummerSlam, many fans believed Oba Femi was set to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
After winning the King of the Ring tournament, Femi was due a shot at the world title of his choosing, but he chose to face Brock Lesnar in Hell In A Cell at WWE SummerSlam instead.
However, this should not completely scrap this bout between Femi and Reigns from the future and instead see these two clash at an even bigger event.
Whether it be before the end of 2026 or at next year’s WrestleMania 43, Reigns and Femi battling over the World Heavyweight Championship will be one of the biggest matches WWE will offer in the foreseeable future.
