Wrestling is a curious thing. Some events that happened last year feel like a lifetime ago whereas other feel like they occurred just yesterday.
Survivor Series 2017 is very much the latter. It feels like WWE has been effectively running on autopilot ever since, with everyone on the show still with the promotion and most of them seemingly in the same spots on the card.
Is that actually true though?
In this feature we assess the careers of the Survivor Series 2017 participants since the event one year ago and grade their efforts.
It should be noted that we are grading based on their change in status within the company. If they are in the same place then they will get a C, if they have improved then a B or an A.
Those who have slipped get a D. Those who have completely fallen apart since get an F. And there are a few of those!
Dean Ambrose
Grade: C
Spent much of the past year out injured. Returned prior to SummerSlam to a huge response and looked jacked. Was involved in a Shield reunion that ended prematurely when Roman Reigns was sidelined with illness. Controversially turned heel on best friend Seth Rollins. Is yet to explain his actions or work a match under the new guise.
