Roman Reigns is currently what WWE is referring to as the “Undisputed WWE Universal Champion”, having won the WWE Championship and retained the Universal Championship over Brock Lesnar in the WrestleMania 38 main event.
WWE billed that a “unification match”, which means, unless WWE was either lying or doesn’t know what unification means, Reigns actually only holds one singular championship right now. However, WWE.com still has the Universal and WWE Championships listed separately.
So basically, we don’t really know. And that makes this a bit awkward to write.
Either way, if Reigns does only have one title, WWE is just going to invent another one anyway because both TV networks are going to want a top champion, so that means there are going to be two regardless.
For this article, I’m gonna try to predict the next five people who will be champions in the lineage of the title that Reigns currently holds, not the other one.
Hopefully that makes sense. If it doesn’t, blame WWE, not me. Anyway, let’s have a look at the first man who will be champion after Roman Reigns, meaning he’ll be the man that beats him…
