Since the formation of AEW and the birth of ‘Forbidden Door’, one crossover that has remained a pipedream is a potential crossover between AEW and WWE.
WWE has opened its doors to other promotions in recent years, taking the likelihood of a crossover up from 0% to a whole 1%, with AEW’s Tony Khan admitting that it could happen ‘in the next 100 years’.
However, what would a potential WWE vs. AEW Forbidden Door card look like?
Here is our predicted card for a WWE x AEW crossover show.
The Bloodline (Roman Reigns & The Usos) vs. The Elite (Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada)
Both The Bloodline and The Elite have gone through major shakeups in recent months, with the New Elite now consisting of the Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry.
With the Bloodline, it’s the original trio of Roman Reigns and the Usos that would match up the best against AEW’s evil authority.
With Reigns and the Usos now babyfaces, the potential match against the Elite would be an even easier one to put together.
The Usos and the Young Bucks are two of the greatest teams to never face off in a ring, and we could finally get that Reigns and Okada moment many had speculated about when Okada was linked to WWE earlier this year.
