Predicting The Card For WWE WrestleMania 42 After Elimination Chamber 2026

Predicting The Card For WWE WrestleMania 42 After Elimination Chamber 2026 WWE

WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 was the last premium live event on the road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.

A few of the matches are now set but there are also still plenty of question marks to be answered over the few weeks.

Here is our currrent predicted card for WWE WrestleMania 42 following the Elimination Chamber.

Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Jacob Fatu – Undisputed WWE Championship

Randy Orton won the men’s Elimination Chamber match, so in theory, he is set to challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania – but due to McIntyre getting involved in the Chamber finish between Orton and Cody Rhodes, Nick Aldis has decided that McIntyre must put his title on the line against Rhodes on the next episode of SmackDown.

Since it’s very unlikely that Rhodes won’t be in the title match at Mania, this match may result in a title change which would mean he goes into Mania as defending champion, or failing that, some kind of finish that means he gets one more shot at McIntyre, which would see him added to the Mania match as a challenger, so it could be a three-way.

However, Jacob Fatu has had issues with all three of McIntyre, Rhodes and Orton, and has people backstage pushing for him to be in the title picture, so he may find a way into the match as well. One other option would be Rhodes vs Orton for the title, and McIntyre vs Fatu as a separate match, but it would be harsh on McIntyre to just drop him from the title picture entirely.

There are even additional names like Sami Zayn, Trick Williams and Aleister Black who have been around the top of the card on SmackDown who could be added to make it more than a four-way, but Orton, Rhodes, McIntyre and Fatu seem like the top four candidates right now.
