Off the back of this past weekend’s WrestleMania Backlash show, WWE’s next Premium Live Event (PLE) offering is Hell in a Cell on June 6.
The show will emanate from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, but there will be one notable omission – Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.
Reigns has agreed a new deal with WWE that will see him work fewer dates, and although he’s not expected to miss many TVs or PLEs in the summer, Hell in a Cell is reportedly one he will be missing.
Reigns has only missed two PLEs since his return in summer 2020, which were Hell in a Cell 2021 (he wrestled Rey Mysterio in a Hell in a Cell match on SmackDown two nights earlier), and Day 1, which he was supposed to work, but was pulled out on the day due to COVID-19.
WWE is gonna have to put on a strong card since the top name in the company won’t be in action, so let’s predict what exactly the card could look like…
