Over the course of WWE WrestleMania 41 weekend six titles changed hands, with a new season of storylines now underway.
With Backlash just over a week away on May 10, several talents have set their sights on gold, but will they successfully dethrone the company’s existing champions? Or will big title changes instead take place later down the line?
Here are our predictions for the next holder of every WWE championship.
World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins
At WWE WrestleMania 41 Night One, the show opened with Jey Uso defeating GUNTHER to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Then in the main event, Seth Rollins aligned with Paul Heyman to beat Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
While Rollins and Heyman have gone on to seemingly start a new faction with Bron Breakker, this new group have not set their sights on Jey Uso’s gold quite yet.
However, this seems like an inevitability and among the Raw roster it is certainly Rollins who stands out as the biggest threat to Jey’s first world title reign.
Rollins dethroning Jey for the World Heavyweight Championship down the line would solidify his new heel stable, and eventually open the door to stars such as CM Punk, Roman Reigns and even Breakker himself challenging Rollins for the gold.
