Whether it be Sting continuing his career in AEW or Stone Cold Steve Austin in WWE, retirements do not always last forever in wrestling.

WWE has seen a fair share of retired legends make their in-ring return or appearances in the promotion, leading to fans to question what other names could lace up their boots again in the future.

Here are eight retired WWE stars to potentially return.

8. Brie Bella

At WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Nikki Bella made her in-ring return to the company for the first time since 2022 as the number 30 entrant in the women’s Rumble match.

Since then, Nikki has made it clear that she is open to doing more work with WWE in the near future.

In talking about her return, Nikki has also been open about wanting her twin sister Brie Bella to also make her in-ring return for the promotion.

The Bella Twins making their return would open the door for the iconic duo to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and potentially capture those titles for the first time.
