At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Rhea Ripley defeated Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, Kiana James and Alexa Bliss to win the Women’s Elimination Chamber and punch her ticket for WrestleMania 42.
Now, Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at “The Show of Shows” this April.
After WWE announced that Ripley will appear on the March 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, fans could see any number of plans in store for an interaction with Cargill on this week’s show.
Here are six potential Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill WWE SmackDown plans.
6. Face-to-face confrontation

On the March 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley stated that she was ready to go face-to-face with WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill this Friday on SmackDown.
Cargill and Ripley are two of the most physically intimidating women on the WWE roster today, so their stature and presence should be on full display in a face-to-face.
Both women are known for their size and physique, making this an evenly matched affair between Rhea and Jade.
Whether it be on the microphone or just seeing them stand toe-to-toe, this confrontation holds a lot of possibilities for Ripley and Cargill to gain some immediate attention for their upcoming meeting at WrestleMania 42.
