Rhea Ripley remains one of WWE’s most popular and recognizable stars in the company today.
Heading into 2026, it will be interesting to see who will step up to the plate to be the former WWE Women’s World Champion’s opponent on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
From big time title bouts to personal grudges being settled, Ripley’s WrestleMania opponent could be just about anyone in the women’s division right now.
Here are eight potential Rhea Ripley WWE WrestleMania 42 opponents.
8. IYO SKY
At WrestleMania 41, IYO SKY defeated Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship.
After this classic battle, IYO and Rhea would battle once more for the title at WWE Evolution 2025, but this match was interrupted by Naomi cashing in the Money In The Bank contract to win the Women’s World Title.
Since this loss, SKY and Ripley have aligned and formed a partnership that has seen them having to deal with IYO’s former friends and Damage CTRL stablemates The Kabuki Warriors.
By the time WWE gets to WrestleMania 42, it could be time for IYO and Rhea to rekindle their rivalry and see who is the better woman between the two once and for all.
