4- Eli Drake
Eli Drake is probably one of my personal favorites in Impact. He’s been around for a while now, and at 35 he still has great potential for years to come. His in ring promo work is hard to beat, especially when only comparing against the Impact roster, as he is by far the best at working the crowd. He’s certainly not the best in ring performer on the roster, but that has never really been a key ingredient in the creation of the top guy in a promotion (A.J. Styles is definitely the outlier, however, as he is a fantastic in ring worker and was the face of Impact for many years).
However, I tend to ignore the popular opinion about Impact stars, so I’m not sure how everyone else feels about him. I definitely see him as a polarizing wrestler when it comes to fan support. But I think compared to most on the roster, he really knows what he’s doing in the ring and on the mic.
