The Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli), Gabe Kidd & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi & The Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match
At AEW All In Texas 2025, Hangman Adam Page defeated Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match to win the AEW World Championship. Despite losing their grip on All Elite Wrestling, The Death Riders have continued to be a threat to multiple members of the roster.
During the All In match, Claudio Castagnoli stomped a chair over the neck of Will Ospreay that has caused him to have herniated discs and contemplating his future in the ring.
Meanwhile, Darby Allin made his return at All In where he fought against The Death Riders to help Hangman to victory and has been hunting down the group every week on AEW Dynamite and Collision since then.
Ospreay returned on the August 13 edition of Dynamite where he issued a challenge for himself, Darby and their friends to face Moxley, The Death Riders and some of their friends in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
Moxley recruited The Young Bucks who are looking for revenge on Ospreay after losing their tag team match against him and Swerve Strickland caused them to lose their EVP status at AEW All In Texas 2025.

Prediction: The Death Riders & The Young Bucks
Betting favorite: Golden Lovers, Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Will Ospreay (Golden Lovers, Allin, Tanahashi & Ospreay 2/9 vs. Death Riders & The Young Bucks 11/4)
