The latest NXT premium live event is set to take place this Saturday, when NXT No Mercy takes over Bakersfield, California.
The show is set to have a lot of eyes on it, with both Becky Lynch and Dominik Mysterio set to defend their NXT gold on the night.
The future of a lot of NXT stars is in question, with No Mercy likely to answer a lot of questions about many people’s immediate futures on the brand.
Here’s a look at the card for No Mercy, accompanied with predictions for the show, as well as the most likely results, with betting odds to back those up.
Betting odds via SportsBetting.ag correct as of 8:30am ET on Thursday, September 28.
Kelani Jordan vs. Blair Davenport
This match will likely take place on the Kick-Off show, since NXT likes to use it’s pre-shows to feature a match.
Kelani Jordan is now without Dana Brooke by her side, with Dana’s release likely cutting short a lot of the plans the show had for Kelani.
Kelani challenged Blair Davenport to a match on the show after Davenport attacked Gigi Dolin on this week’s (September 26) show.
This will be the biggest match of Jordan’s career so far, so I expect her to put in a good showing but ultimately come up short on the night.
Maybe Gigi gets involved to cost Blair the match, but I don’t see that happening.
Prediction: Blair Davenport
