On May 24, the latest WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
There are four major matches announced for the show that will be featured on this NBC and Peacock special.
The results of this latest event will shift things greatly across Raw and SmackDown as the company heads to WWE Money In The Bank 2025 on June 7.
Here are our previews and potential spoilers for the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event results.
John Cena vs. R-Truth
At WWE Backlash 2025, John Cena defeated Randy Orton to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
During the course of the bout, R-Truth came down to the ring to stop Orton from delivering a punt kick, leading to a distraction that Cena took advantage of to win the match.
After the show, Truth congratulated his “childhood hero” and also remarked about the fans believing he can’t wrestle, which caused Cena to snap and attack him with an AA through a table.
This led to Truth issuing a challenge and wanting to beat some sense back into Cena, who has completely changed since his heel turn earlier this year.
The result of this bout does not feel in question at all, but there is a chance this could be a fun encounter between the two men for the fans in attendance in Tampa.
Cena will pick up the win over Truth and may just do so in dominant fashion that sets up the next stop in his farewell tour the rest of this year.
Prediction: John Cena
Betting favorite: John Cena (Cena 1/20 vs Truth 8/1)
