‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ WWE SummerSlam 2024 emanates from the Cleveland Browns Stadium on August 3.
At the time of writing there are seven bouts advertised for the highly anticipated event, with six of them being contested for WWE championships.
Although changes to the card are reportedly possible, we’re going to fully breakdown what’s currently advertised for SummerSlam via full preview with predictions and the current betting odds provided for each match.
These betting odds are through SkyBet and are correct as of 12:40PM on Friday, August 2.
Without further ado lets get into a match that could potentially open the night’s proceedings.
WWE United States Championship – Logan Paul (c) Vs. LA Knight
It may sound strange to say, but one sure fire way to get the crowd in a good mood will be for LA Knight to stomp out Cleveland’s own Logan Paul and claim his first piece of WWE gold.
Normally, this would be a great way to kill a crowd’s buzz, see Drew McIntyre’s loss in Glasgow at Clash at the Castle as an example.
However, Paul is a rare case and it’s hard to imagine he’ll have many fans inside the Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Knight’s big crowning win is something fans have been anticipating for quite some time, with the Mega Star riding high a wave of momentum ever since he won the Slim Jim Battle Royal at last year’s SummerSlam.
A loss to Paul would be hugely damaging, and I honestly can’t see what good reason there would be to do so.
So, it seems rather safe to say that The Maverick’s lengthy United States Championship run is ending here.
Prediction: LA Knight
Betting Favorite: LA Knight (LA Knight 1/7 Logan Paul 10/3)
