Ten Superstars Who Should Switch Brands In The WWE Draft

8. Chad Gable to NXT

Chad Gable (I refuse to call him Shorty G) really does deserve better, and a move down to NXT, where he first won Tag Team Championship with Jason Jordan, could do wonders for the former Olympian.

This move is a real no-brainer. Not only would NXT benefit from having a truly fantastic worker on their roster like Chad Gable, but the former Tag Team Champion isn’t doing anything on SmackDown right now, so it’s not like the blue brand would be massively hit if he does leave.

Gable has shown throughout his main roster run that he is able to play the sympathetic babyface, as well as the cocky whiney heel. He’d be a fantastic addition to the NXT roster, and the potential for matches with KUSHIDA, Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano down at Full Sail are truly mouth-watering.

7. Braun Strowman to Raw

With Roman Reigns the top heel on SmackDown and Bray Wyatt being positioned as the blue brand’s top babyface, there isn’t really much room for Braun Strowman on Friday Night SmackDown anymore.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen the former Universal Champion mix it up with Daba-Kato as part of Raw Underground, but we feel that the upcoming WWE Draft should see Braun Strowman become a full-time fixture on the Monday Night Raw roster.

With Drew McIntyre now done with Randy Orton following Clash of Champions, it would make sense to have him feud with a heel Braun Strowman (someone that he has history with from the Dogs of War days) over on Raw.

With Strowman having feuded with and wrestled Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt several times now, it’s certainly time to see “The Monster Among Men” move over to Raw to start fresh feuds with the red brand’s top babyfaces.

6. Nikki Cross to Raw

The SmackDown women’s division has been pretty good since the beginning of the pandemic, with Bayley, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross doing some great work as regular fixtures on Friday nights.

However, the Raw women’s division is in need of some pretty big help, and with the absences of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, could do with an established name like Nikki Cross being added to the roster.

Vince McMahon is apparently high on and wants to push Peyton Royce and Bianca Belair as singles stars on the brand, and it would be great for their development to have them mix it up with an established veteran like Nikki Cross. Cross would even be great for a pay-per-view match with Asuka, reigniting their brilliant feud from down in NXT.

Nikki has feuded with Bayley for the majority of the Summer, and with the SmackDown Women’s Champion now seemingly busy with Sasha Banks, it makes sense to move Nikki Cross on to Monday Night Raw.
