WWE
Over the last two years, The Rock has played a crucial role in adding extra intrigue and fan investment around WWE WrestleMania season.
With recent reports indicating ticket sales are falling short of WWE’s expectations, the company may need to call upon “The Final Boss” once again.
The Rock returning should be presented as a big deal, and lead to bringing more eyes to the WWE product as only he can.
Here are eight potential The Rock WWE return plans.
8. Become A New Authority Figure As “The Final Boss”

In 2024, The Rock made his return to WWE and looked to position himself as the opponent for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
However, the fans’ backlash against this plan and wanting to see Cody Rhodes get his rightful opportunity at Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship led to a change of plans.
In the midst of this change, The Rock turned heel and created arguably one of his best characters ever in “The Final Boss,” exerting his power as a member of the TKO Board of Directors across WWE programming.
Taking things a step further, “The Final Boss” could return once again and become the newest authority figure usurping both Raw and SmackDown General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis as the most powerful man in the company.
