WWE is planning on doing a modern version of 1993’s nationwide roadshow the Lex Express to promote its arrival on FOX.
Bully Ray (currently of Ring of Honor) and Jim Ross (of AEW) were both invited to be part of Raw Reunion next Monday but declined.
Kevin Owens is set to face Shane McMahon at SummerSlam. Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt and Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz are also set for the show.
Drake Maverick may be revealed as the father to Maria Kanellis‘ baby, furthering the storyline rivalry between Maverick and Mike Kanellis two and causing further issues in his new marriage.
Maverick is also expected to be involved in an angle or match with R-Truth involving the 24/7 Title at San Diego Comic Con.
The reason behind Raw Reunion is because WWE’s stockholders report takes place just days later and WWE is concerned the numbers it is going to present. Popping a large rating a few days earlier gives them something to push to investors as a positive.
Alternatively, USA Network came up with the idea of Raw Reunion in order to get ratings up and encourage lapses fans to stay with the modern product.
Finn Balor will be taking two months off after SummerSlam to go on an extended sabbatical. Balor is said to be burned out and banged up but his absence is not due to unhappiness.
Sasha Banks and Bayley lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 35 because WWE wanted to program The IIconics against The Bellas.
There were plans in place for Ali to feud with Dolph Ziggler but WWE scrapped it in favour of turning Kevin Owens babyface and having him enter into a rivalry with Ziggler.
Johnny Impact is done with Impact Wrestling and is expected to sign with ROH, AEW or WWE in the near future.
Braun Strowman is set to receive another monster push under Paul Heyman’s stewardship of Raw.
Daniel Bryan was originally scheduled for Raw’s battle royal to determine the new number one contender to Brock Lesnar but was replaced late on by Sami Zayn due to a change in creative direction.
EVOLVE on the WWE Network was considered a success both in terms of show quality and viewership numbers, which is expected to accelerate the arrival of more non-WWE programming on the service.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were planning on doing a podcast if they left WWE but as they have signed new deals those plans have been scrapped.
Drake Maverick will not be associated with AOP when they return to television.
LAX have multiple suitors, with AEW said to be leading the chase for their signatures but WWE and MLW also in the running.

The reason Street Profits were called up to Raw was a Paul Heyman call. While they are expected to appear on the show again they are still considered NXT talent.
There will be another WWE draft after SummerSlam so that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff will each have their preferred rosters for Raw and SmackDown.
WALTER is not happy in WWE and could be on his way out of the promotion when his contract expires at the end of the year.
Former WWE Diva’s Champion AJ Lee has not ruled out a return to wrestling in the future.
SmackDown will premier on FOX on October 4. AEW will premier on TNT two days earlier on Wednesday, October 2.
Roman Reigns wants to wrestle full-time for two more years before becoming part-time in WWE and transitioning to making movies.
