10. Steve Austin attempts to murder Triple H (2000)
Wrestling is a funny thing. Sometimes its a contest between two athletes and sometimes one man tries to end another man’s life. It be like that sometimes.
After it was revealed that Triple H had been Rikishi’s accomplice in the hit-and-run assault on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in 1999, Austin sought his revenge at Survivor Series 2000. Austin and Triple H had a bloody affair in their No-DQ match and after things couldn’t be settled in the ring, their brawl spilled out into the parking lot. As Triple H and Austin separated, Triple H got in a car to hide. As Triple H looked around the parking lot, he somehow missed the massive forklift driving towards him.
Austin lifted Triple H’s car high in the air as Triple H pleaded mercy. As he reached the forklift’s max height, Austin turned the car over and dropped Triple H, sending the pay per view off the air with people having seen an attempted murder.
While Triple H was not in fact murdered by Steve Austin, the act did leave fans with a memory they won’t likely forget.
