10. Prince Devitt vs. Low Ki vs. Kota Ibushi – Wrestle Kingdom 7
This match has been called perhaps the best three-way match in history and its easy to see why. Three of the world’s best junior heavyweights competed for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and did not disappoint.
Prince Devitt and Kota Ibushi were no strangers to one another, having competed for the junior title at Wrestle Kingdom V. Meanwhile, Devitt and Low Ki had traded the junior title throughout 2012 leading to this classic three-way match.
Low Ki somehow wrestled this whole match in a full three-piece suit, making all of his quick moves all the more impressive. Ibushi and Devitt brought their A-game as well, as all three men traded big moves and refused to let the others steal the win. There were many great moments in this match, with perhaps the best being when Devitt was trapped in the tree of woe position and had to look on in panic as Ibushi tried to pin Low Ki following a top-rope hurricanrana.
After an incredible 15 minutes of action, Devitt managed to hit an inverted 1916 from the top rope on Ibushi for the win. Devitt retained his title and would go on to form Bullet Club just a few months later.
