WrestleMania 39 is now in the books, as we look ahead to the ‘new year’ for WWE.
The year will officially kick off with the WWE Draft, which was announced by Triple H on the April 7 episode of SmackDown.
While the official date for the event has yet to be announced, the event is reportedly set to take place on the May 8 episode of WWE Raw following Backlash, according to WRKD Wrestling.
With that being said, there are a lot of top stars who could do with a change of scenery for the next year, starting with…
Montez Ford – Raw to SmackDown
I like Angelo Dawkins, I think Angelo Dawkins is really good, but Montez Ford is the guy.
His performance inside the Elimination Chamber was a real eye opener on Ford’s potential, that we all already knew he had.
A draft is the easiest way to break up the tag team without having to have the two turn on each other, allowing Ford and Dawkins to continue on as babyfaces on their respective brands.
Ford could go on to have great clashes on the blue brand with the likes of LA Knight, Gunther and any NXT stars that find themselves on the brand.
