WWE Replacement For Triple H WWE

Triple H has been positioned as the WWE Chief Content Officer since 2022 and has taken the company to new heights from a creative as well as business standpoint.

However, WWE’s parent company TKO have interjected themselves in storylines over the past few years, making it clear that they may not have full confidence in the job ‘The Game’ is doing.

TKO could one day decide to remove Triple H from his CCO role and may replace him, but the question would be who is best to fill that position in his place.

Here are seven potential WWE replacements for Triple H.

7. Shawn Michaels

Triple H was once in charge of WWE NXT as the head of creative for the brand, but he had a serious cardiac event in 2021 that forced him to take some time off from the promotion.

In Triple H’s place, Shawn Michaels stepped up to the plate to become the new head of NXT creative in a role that he remains to this day.

‘The Heartbreak Kid’ has done an exceptional job of highlighting the new stars that the brand has had to offer and played a role in NXT’s transition to The CW Network in 2024.

In a full circle moment, WWE could call upon Michaels to replace Triple H again, but this time on the main roster.

6. Bruce Prichard

Playing a similar role that he had in regards to working under Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard has been the Executive Director to Triple H during his run as WWE CCO.

Being right by his side backstage, Prichard has played an instrumental role in the creative development of the storylines fans see on WWE TV.

Over the past four decades, Prichard has had different roles within WWE’s creative process and is among the most tenured of the backstage personnel.

WWE and TKO could not find anyone more prepared to eventually take on Triple H’s position than Prichard.

5. Gabe Sapolsky

In 2018, Gabe Sapolsky signed with WWE and has played a role primarily focused on the creative and talent relations.

Most recently, Sapolsky was integral in developing the WWE Evolve brand with the ID talent and Performance Center recruits having a chance to get used to the company’s style.

Sapolsky is someone with years of experience in creative working with Ring of Honor and Evolve before this.

With his experience and history of success, Sapolsky could offer a different approach to that of Triple H, allowing him to offer something new to the mix as head of creative for WWE.

4. The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the most iconic and legendary stars in the history of WWE with a character that has been regarded as one of the best ever.

While Taker has played different roles since his retirement in 2020, ‘The Deadman’ most recently started to become the head of creative for Lucha Libre AAA.

Ahead of WrestleMania 41 in 2025, WWE acquired the Mexican promotion and completely transformed the company.

After the success Taker has had in AAA, he could make the transition to the WWE creative team as the new head in the place of Triple H.

3. Paul Heyman

Someone who has played an important role on the current WWE creative team in recent years is Paul Heyman.

Considered one of the most brilliant minds to ever be involved in wrestling, Heyman was the mastermind behind ECW’s success in the 1990s.

Eventually signing with WWE after ECW closed down, Heyman brought that creativity to the company and was instrumental in the SmackDown Six era of the blue brand in the 2000s.

With his contributions to the likes of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Roman Reigns from the creative standpoint, Heyman feels like someone who would be a viable option to replace Triple H and bring some new innovations to the head of WWE creative role.

2. Brian Gewirtz

In 2024, The Rock made his return to WWE and alongside ‘The Great One’ came his friend and former creative team member Brian Gewirtz.

Gewirtz spent over 16 years with WWE as a member of the creative team where he served as head writer during the ‘Attitude Era’ and ‘Ruthless Aggression Era.’

Now working for The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions, Gewirtz has played significant roles in some of Dwayne Johnson’s biggest projects.

Bringing Hollywood credentials and plenty of experience within the company, WWE and TKO would be wise to call upon Brian Gewirtz to step in as the new head of creative to replace Triple H.

1. The Rock

While WWE and TKO could ask Brian Gewirtz, The Rock seems like a more high profile option as the new head of creative.

In 2024, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was appointed to the TKO Board of Directors and then made his return to WWE proper.

With his role within the parent company, it seems like a logical option for TKO to decide that The Rock is the right person to elect for WWE CCO.

Knowing his experience as one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling history, The Rock would have some mainstream crossover that would make him such a high profile replacement for Triple H that makes a great deal of sense for everyone involved.
