Team Piper
Virgil: Lasted until 1994 as a glorified enhancement talent. Became a long-serving member of the nWo in WCW as Vincent, a rib on Vince McMahon. Was brought back briefly in 2010 as Ted DiBiase Jr.’s manager. Can still be found shilling his merch on the convention circuit worldwide, where he has become a living meme.
Bret Hart: Hart infamously left WWE under a cloud in 1997 having transitioned from a tag wrestler to the promotion’s top babyface and five-time WWE Champion. Was inducted into the HOF in 2006, then properly made peace with WWE in 2010, returning to the ring at WrestleMania XXVI against Vince McMahon. Hart was unable to take any bumps due to a stroke he had suffered in 2002. Has remained on good terms with WWE since, making appearances as special events. The ‘Hitman’ battled and defeated prostate cancer in 2016.
Roddy Piper: Passed away in 2015 aged 61 from a heart attack.
British Bulldog: Davey Boy Smith passed away in 2002 aged 39 from a heart attack.
