Who Should Challenge For Every Main Roster Title Following Survivor Series?

Who Should Challenge For Every Main Roster Title Following Survivor Series?

Following Survivor Series last night, there are multiple ways WWE could go with each title feud. After Keith Lee, Bianca Belair and Riddle all impressed in their cross-brand matches, what is most important right now, is fresh matches and feuds as we begin to look towards the Royal Rumble. The roster is top-notch, therefore we have created a list full of optimism that the next challengers will create some necessary buzz.

10. United States Championship – Keith Lee

Current Champion – Bobby Lashley

Despite the promising start for Keith Lee on the main roster, he hasn’t done much of note in recent weeks. Lee is arguably the best performer WWE has to offer, therefore an early United States Title win in his main roster career would implement him on the card. A Hurt Business vs. Keith Lee feud would be full of great matches, and more importantly, promos. MVP is one of the best promos in WWE, and he would build an exciting feud between Lee and Bobby Lashley perfectly.

While it would be great to see the “Limitless One” take on Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, that big of a match should be saved for WrestleMania. Give Keith a solid title run until Royal Rumble time where he could lose it to someone like Riddle and have Lee win the Men’s Rumble. A title is a great way to ensure someone has regular storylines (usually, sorry Asuka) so a United States Championship run would be terrific.

9. Intercontinental Championship – Dominik Mysterio

Current Champion – Sami Zayn

Dominik Mysterio had a brilliant performance in the Kick-Off show cross-brand battle royal last night at Survivor Series and has proven that he can put on a decent match against Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. Sami Zayn, on the other hand, despite being one of the best wrestlers in the company, has been treated as a joke with losses against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.

Nevertheless, unlike the previous entry, I wouldn’t suggest the challenger win this feud. Dominik is still pretty green, but a feud between Zayn and the Mysterios would be great fun. Not only would it help Dominik become more over with great matches against Zayn, but Sami retaining at the end of the feud would help to boost his lacklustre current Intercontinental Championship run. Where Zayn goes from this, who knows, but this would at least make him look like more of a serious wrestler.

8. 24/7 Championship – Who Cares.

Current Champion – R-Truth

This may seem harsh, but who can actually say they are enjoying the 24/7 Title scene?

Whether it’s involving Erik, Lince Dorado, Drew Gulak or R-Truth, the championship hasn’t been funny for at least a year now. Three out of the four names currently involved in the 24/7 title pursuit should be much higher in the card and do not deserve to be chasing R-Truth in time-wasting segments. However, if I had to choose one person to face Truth, let’s say… Kalisto, because… Lucha things. Let’s just scrap the belt.
