Who Will Fill The Remaining WWE Survivor Series Team Spots?

Again, WWE.com‘s graphic here is slightly odd, as those four ladies will all be representing SmackDown.

Charlotte Flair was also announced by Paige as the blue team’s fifth member, but didn’t turn up… for some reason, and instead Mandy Rose came out and had a moan.

Personally, I don’t doubt that Charlotte will be in this match, but the only real alternative if she’s not, is indeed Mandy. The only other available talent on SmackDown would be one of the IIconics, which would be odd, or Lana. And… well… she’s Lana.

None of the Raw team has been announced, but Baron Corbin did announce that Alexa Bliss will be the captain. She won’t be wrestling because of her ongoing injury problems.

Now, it would be easy to just go with Alexa’s new bezzie mates in the Alicia Fox, Mickie James and the Riott Squad, and that might be what Bliss announces initially, but what’s more likely is we’ll end up with a mix of heels and babyfaces, because there are big names like Sasha Banks and Bayley who will almost certainly be in there.

At this point in time, I feel the most likely team looks like this:

  • Ruby Riott
  • Sasha Banks
  • Bayley
  • Nia Jax
  • Ember Moon

These are the five most prominent members of Raw‘s women’s division, but Jax & Moon may well be left out because of their own rivalry. They could be substituted with the likes of James, Fox or Natalya.

There is also the possibility that Trish Stratus and Lita might be involved on the Raw side, as there have been reports that WWE is looking to use them more going forward.

There’s not really much to go off at this point, a lot of this is just educated guesswork. Things will likely become more clear when Stephanie McMahon appears on Raw next Monday.

So, by my estimation, we could be looking at this:

Riott, Banks, Bayley, Jax and Moon vs. Asuka, Carmella, Deville, Naomi and Charlotte

As I said though, that Raw side is very much up in the air. Stratus and Lita could very easily be swapped for the feuding Jax and Moon.

Up next, it’s the men’s teams…
