WWE
On Friday, April 17, WWE will hold one of its most anticipated events of WrestleMania 42 weekend with the Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony.
One of the headline names being inducted will be AJ Styles following his retirement match against GUNTHER at WWE Royal Rumble 2026.
Looking at his illustrious career, there are several notable names who could make the appearance to induct Styles into the WWE Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
Here are seven potential options on who will induct AJ Styles into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026.
8. Chris Park (Abyss)
There are several names part of WWE on-screen and behind-the-scenes that have plenty of history with AJ Styles throughout his career.
One of those names is Chris Park, who is currently working as a backstage producer for the company, but was once an in-ring competitor.
Also known as Abyss, Park is considered by many to be one of Styles’ most memorable rivals during his time in TNA Wrestling.
After donning the mask for his farewell show on the February 23 edition of WWE Raw, the company could call on Abyss to induct Styles into the Hall of Fame on April 17.
7. Xavier Woods
A WWE star who has worked with AJ Styles in WWE as well as TNA Wrestling is Xavier Woods.
Once known as Consequences Creed, Woods was a young star who signed with TNA and befriended ‘The Phenomenal One.’
Then when Styles made the jump to WWE, he once again reconnected with Woods along with the rest of The New Day as traveling buddies and for his UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.
With The New Day member being one of his closest friends still on the roster, Woods feels like a logical choice to induct Styles into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026.
6. R-Truth
Another individual who has worked with AJ Styles in TNA Wrestling and WWE is R-Truth.
The two men first met each other in TNA where they were two of the top stars in the promotion during the early days in the 2000s.
Truth and Styles once again reunited in WWE where they have remained friends ever since.
With all the stories from their time in TNA being two of the building blocks of that company, Truth is someone who could tell a more complete story of Styles’ journey in wrestling for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
5. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)
Another pair of former WWE stars who could deliver a memorable induction speech for AJ Styles at this year’s Hall of Fame are The Good Brothers.
Meeting each other in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows befriended Styles when he signed with the promotion to become the newest leader of the Bullet Club.
Styles mentioned his friendship with The Good Brothers during his farewell speech on the February 23 WWE Raw and how they taught him how to have fun in the wrestling business again.
Knowing how close they have been for over the past decade, it just makes sense for The Good Brothers to deliver the WWE Hall of Fame induction speech for Styles during this year’s ceremony.
4. Frankie Kazarian
When WWE held a farewell show for AJ Styles during the February 23 episode of Monday Night Raw, TNA Wrestling’s Frankie Kazarian was one of the special guests for the episode.
The former TNA World Champion is someone who has known Styles for over two decades now.
Considered one of his closest friends, Kazarian knows Styles and his family very well through their time working together in TNA.
Kazarian coming in for the induction speech for Styles during the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 would be a touching gesture to celebrate their lengthy relationship and honor his friend in a meaningful way.
3. Robert Roode
Another former TNA Wrestling star who currently works as a backstage producer in WWE is Robert Roode.
The former multi-time TNA World Champion was another one of the earliest stars in the company and worked closely with AJ Styles.
The two stars developed a friendship that has endured for over two decades and still goes on to this day.
With the memories they have teaming together and facing off with one another in TNA and WWE, Roode seems like a fitting star to induct Styles into the Hall of Fame class of 2026.
2. Shinsuke Nakamura
During his days in New Japan Pro Wrestling, AJ Styles found himself across the ring from some of the best the company had to offer, such as Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito.
However, Styles’ most famed match during his two-year run with NJPW may have been his final singles bout against Shinsuke Nakamura at the Wrestle Kingdom 10 event.
‘The King of Strong Style’ has since rekindled his rivalry with Styles various times throughout the years when they signed with WWE.
After their final encounter at the January 24 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and all of their encounters over the years, it would be quite fitting to see Nakamura induct Styles into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
1. John Cena
AJ Styles has spent over a decade in WWE and has had several noteworthy rivals throughout the years.
Among the top talent that ‘The Phenomenal One’ has encountered, there might not be anyone who is most known as his greatest rival quite like John Cena.
With Cena part of WrestleMania 42 weekend as the special guest host of the two-night event, WWE could call on ‘The Never Seen 17’ to celebrate the career of one of his greatest opponents.
Considering how much their feud meant to both of their careers, it just feels right for Cena to be the one to induct Styles into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 in Las Vegas.
