A more than ever, women are perceived as being equal to men in all regards. Most modern cultures are making the effort to not treat women as second class citizens. So by this merit, why should a man only face a man and a woman only face a woman inside the squared circle?
Although not a frequent occurrence, we’ve seen men and women compete in other sports and in other forms of entertainment, so why shouldn’t professional wrestling evolve with the times?
