WrestleTalk Needs You! US-Based Freelance Writer Application

Thank you for showing an interest in becoming a freelance writer with WrestleTalk.com. Below are details on how to apply to the position, and what the role entails.

JOB DESCRIPTION

WrestleTalk.com is looking for a US-based freelance writer to work both evening and weekend shifts.

Your main responsibilities will be writing news stories from the world of pro-wrestling, so a strong knowledge of modern pro-wrestling is essential for anyone looking to apply.

Shifts, which are around six to eight hours long, will be supervised by an editor, who will help you find stories to write. However, you are also expected to find your own stories, so a good news-sense is a must.

WrestleTalk.com is one of the world’s leading pro-wrestling news websites, so a professional attitude and work ethic is very valuable.

Salary: £10/$15 an hour.

Hour: 30-40 hours a week, including evenings and weekends.

ONLY APPLY IF…

  • You live in the United States of America (preferably west coast)
  • You have experience in news or sports journalism
  • You have a very thorough knowledge of pro-wrestling, both modern and when it was good.
  • You are available both evenings and weekends to work
  • You are over 21 years old.
  • You are fluent in English.

Please, if you do not fit the above criteria, do not apply, as your application will be automatically rejected.
