Why Lio Rush was paired with Bobby Lashley

205 Live‘s Lio Rush appeared on Raw a couple of weeks ago last week in a backstage segment with Bobby Lashley, and last week confirmed he is the ‘Dominator’s new manager. Or, as he would say, ‘Manager of the Hour.’

According to PWInsider, the reason for the pairing was because WWE officials were impressed with Lio Rush’s social media game and promos he posted on Twitter.

They also note that it has been the plan for a while now to pair Lashley with a mouthpiece similar to how Brock Lesnar has Paul Heyman, and Rush was the man that got the call.

WWE Championship contract signing added to SmackDown Live

Paige announced on Twitter earlier today that in preparation for their WWE Championship clash at Super Show-Down, challenger Samoa Joe and defending champ AJ Styles.

Betting odds for tomorrow’s Raw

SkyBet have released odds for two of the three matches confirmed so far for tomorrow’s episode of Raw.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre are 1/5 favorites to retain their WWE Raw Tag Team Championships over the Revival, who are available at 10/3.

Brie Bella vs. Ruby Riott has also been announced for the show, Riott currently stands at 4/5, with Brie at 10/11. Unfortunately, there seem to be no odds available regarding the chances of Brie botching a Suicide Dive.

In other odds news, The Rock is current favorite to win the men’s 2019 Royal Rumble match, with Charlotte Flair favorite to win the women’s edition.
