2. Lio Rush
Fact: Lio Rush is in hot water within WWE. Multiple sources have cited an incident with Finn Balor resulting in Rush falling out of favor with company management. We also haven’t seen Lio Rush on Raw in several weeks despite Bobby Lashley appearing on the show.
Rumor: Rush may be done with WWE. He recently removed all references to his employers from his Twitter account.
Opinion: This isn’t the first time Lio Rush has been in trouble with WWE. Rush obtained heat after social media comments about Emma release when he was first debuting with the company. Rush bounced back from this error, and found his way on to 205 Live. However, in looking at how he has been used on the main roster, Rush appears to not be someone Vince McMahon sees as a serious competitor. Rush is definitely small, even by cruiserweight standards. Typically, removal of all WWE mentions signals the end of someone’s time in the company. I’m guessing he’ll be let go fairly quickly. At the very least, we might see another Neville type saga.
