WWE
17 WWE stars have been released today including former champions from both the main roster and NXT.
Here are the 17 names released and some background on their time with the company and their departures.
We wish them all the best in whatever their futures hold.
17. Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman has been released from WWE for a second time.
Strowman returned to WWE in September 2022 after previously being released in June 2021 following an eight-year stint with the company.
During his first tenure he won the Universal Championship by defeating Goldberg at WrestleMania 36, as well as becoming a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion and a former Intercontinental Champion. In his second stint from September 2022 to today, he didn’t win any titles.
His last big match was a Last Man Standing match with Jacob Fatu, which Fatu won.
