Will “Ironman” Drew Gulak Get His Due?
In last week’s Number One Contender’s Gauntlet Match, Drew Gulak muscled through Mustafa Ali and Tony Nese, before finally being defeated by Kalisto in the final match. Surely, his performance is worthy of reward, isn’t it? After all, even during the dark period of 205 Live (aka everything before Drake Maverick took over), Gulak was consistently the standout performer on the purple brand. Now that more eyes are on the product, and it’s being taken seriously again, he has evolved his character and style to remain one of the show’s best superstars. However, he has still yet to receive a proper title shot. Will the coming weeks finally be the time for the submission specialist?
