4. JBL – Josh Briggs

Ok, so the whole JBL as a manger thing hasn’t worked quite to plan in the past, but there’s always next time. Honestly the pairing with Baron Corbin kinda made sense, but it was pretty evident it wasn’t going to work.

As Corbin has proven since then, he really didn’t need a manager he just needed a fresh start. Josh Briggs on the other hand, well that’s a far better candidate.

Briggs is someone who is very much of the Bradshaw ilk – A tough, tall, no nonsense brawler. WWE even seemingly acknowledged this by having he and JBL interact backstage in NXT recently.

Briggs has the credentials inside the ring and isn’t a bad talker, however, he is someone that could benefit from a confident heat magnet like JBL, especially if/when Briggs makes it to main roster.
