5 New WWE Championships

5 New WWE Championships WWE

Now that the dust is beginning to settle on WrestleMania 41, a new season of WWE storylines is on the verge of beginning.

What better motivation for feuds and rivalries than a brand new title? From the return of a few to brand new titles to the company, there are several viable options!

Here are five potential new WWE Championships that Triple H could introduce sometime soon.

5. NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship

Despite there being multiple women’s tag teams on NXT, the division continues to compete against main roster stars for the sole set of women’s tag team titles.

While other titles have an equivalent on the main roster and NXT, this particular championship floats across all brands.

However with the holders having been top main roster stars  (in Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez respectively) for nearly the last year – NXT’s stand out women’s tag teams seemingly haven’t had a viable chance at gold.

Since the division remains stacked, this one could be an easy fix with the latest title holders being crowned via a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.

4. Mixed Tag Team Championship

The point of a new title could be to create or elevate a new division – in this case, incorporating mixed tag team matches into storylines.

While there are several groups that feature both men and women, this title could also serve as a sort of motivating force for those stables.

Groups like Judgment Day, Wyatt Sicks, Meta-Four and American Made could all compete for the titles in addition to tag team pairings like Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest or even real life couple Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae could all vie for the belts.

With the Mixed Match Challenge having previously aired exclusively on Facebook, perhaps this title could be the next to be resurrected specifically for a social media platform or only on Netflix.

3. Trios Championship

This suggestion typically elicits strong opinions on both sides – however, given the number of factions currently in WWE, this title would absolutely work.

Introducing a WWE Trios Championship could give main groups like LWO, Legado del Fantasma, Judgment Day, Wyatt Sicks, American Made and even NXT squads like the Culling, Darkstate and Gallus a goal to chase.

While the women’s Tag Team Championship really needs one version for NXT and one for the main roster, conversely this trios title could become the latest to float across all three WWE brands.

Able to be defended across WWE Raw on Netflix, SmackDown and NXT (presumably AAA and TNA Wrestling as well) would make this title even more interesting.

2. Worlds Collide Championship

WWE and AAA and acquisition at WrestleMania 41

At WrestleMania 41, WWE made the surprise announcement that the company had acquired a promotion from Mexico – AAA Lucha Libre.

In addition to having acquired the company, WWE also announced a crossover show between AAA and NXT titled Worlds Collide set for Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Since the landmark event is likely to host multiple cross-promotion matches, it would make sense for there to be an official Worlds Collide Championship.

With WWE cultivating partnerships worldwide, perhaps a future iteration of the event could be a crossover with another company with the title up for grabs again in the future, similarly to the Crown Jewel Championship.

1. Slobberknocker Championship

In homage to Jim Ross’ famous call – this title could basically be any iteration of the Hardcore Championship concept.

With Travis Scott recently appearing with his own Hardcore title replica during his interruption of the WrestleMania 41 main event, using the former iteration of the belt may be a bit too soon.

However, a designated division for the boldest and most violent matches and stories would still fit in WWE.

With stars like Braun Strowman, Bronson Reed and Karrion Kross already poised for no DQ combat, there are plenty of places to go with this title.
